Ewen’s feet whispered on the short green plants, virtually silent as he trod the short path to the campground director’s camper, chin sunk to his chest deep in thought. Every moment, every event is a prologue to what follows it and an epilogue to what precedes it. His chin came up as Blair poked his head out of the camper. “It’s that time already?”
Ewen nodded. “It’s time.”
Blair’s brow furrowed. “I think I lost a few years there. Time plays tricks on age I guess.”
